How it all started

In September 2013, Ruth and Phil Jarvis embarked on a new enterprise at Hall Farm, Loddington, Leics. Looking for some sheep to graze a few small paddocks on the farm, the trail led them to Melton Mowbray and the annual Rare Breeds sale. Could there be a more aptly named breed to bring back to the Leicestershire farm than the 'Leicester Longwool'?
The first purchases for the Loddington Flock.
The next day a trip to see Alan and Sonia Glover saw 4 more ewe lambs purchased and the Loddington Longwools were up and running.

More new arrivals.
