After an extensive search which took in genetics and breeding. Moorgate Rufus travels from Shropshire to take up residence with the Loddington Longwools.

Hay safely gathered in

We managed to get our hay in earlier in the week. Some grand meadow hay. Here's some pictures.

Shearing and Wool Clip

Last week saw the Longwools become 'shortwools', but some nice fleeces are in the bag. Now the longwool spinning and weaving begins.
